The general argument made by author Aleks Krotoski. In her work, “digital technology allows us to tell tales in innovative new ways”, is that there are new means of storytelling. More specifically, Aleks argues that the tools we use for storytelling are evolving. She writes, “The tools they use to tell tales are evolving, becoming more modular and tailored, more participatory and more engaging than just the printed word or the moving image.” In this passage, Aleks is suggesting that we can/should be utilizing these new technologies. In conclusion, Krotoski’s belief is that these new methods and technologies will further the advancement of storytelling for the foreseeable future.
In my view, Aleks is right, because the Edition of new resources that can be used for storytelling will provide a wider range of creativity and enjoyability for stories. More specifically, I believe that this should be encouraged, that there should be more people to try new ways of telling stories. As new technologies come into existence that change the way we tell stories the variety and types of stories we have will only increase the opportunity for wonderful and exciting stories to enter the world.
